The IDC CMO Advisory Service has asked marketers at almost 50 tech companies about their plans for this year. More than half anticipate a modest increase in spending compared to a more than eight percent cut in 2009. Advertising, events, and sales tools lead marketing programs in 2010 but digital funding is expected to rise for the vast majority of marketers.
