Ziff Davis is changing hands, again.
The company, which started in the 1920s as a publisher of hobbyist magazines, became a deal-making cautionary tale as it was sold three times in six years before collapsing into bankruptcy in 2008. Now it is being scooped up by its sixth buyer since 1994.
