Survey: Most marketers have little understanding of online chatter about their brands

Alterian released its 8th annual survey of marketers last week, and Social Media Examiner offered a breakdown of the results, including:

“A vast majority of marketers (7 out of 10) say they have little understanding of social media conversations surrounding their brand.”

Social Media Examiner also noted that roughly half the marketers surveyed said their budget will increase slightly. About 9 percent expect their budgets to increase greatly.
