FRAMINGHAM, MA–(Marketwire – Apr 14, 2011) – IDG’s CIO Executive Council, a peer advisory community of over 750 global enterprises comprised of more than 1,400 information technology (IT) leaders, in conjunction with sister company CIO magazine, announces a multi-city workshop series, focused on advancing female executives in the male-dominated profession of IT. The advice stems directly from the Council’s Executive Women in IT (EWIT) community of practice, formed in 2008, and comprised of over 200 women, dedicated to advancing the profession of information technology and mentoring women.
