Marketing Investment Growth Declines

IDC’s CMO Advisory (Group) surveyed marketers at more than 100 technology companies this summer and contraction is evident. In January, marketers projected an 8% increase in spend compared to 2010. That figure is now down by more than 50% as the year draws to a close. Digital leads in growth with a quarter of marketing program funds dedicated to it.
